The areas strong winds have the greatest impact on the difficulty of the course. The most distinctive features of the course are the impressive views over the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and Africa. This course offers players a variety of scenic landscapes, from a flat area (holes 1 to 5, 17 and 18), where the course is similar to heathland terrain, with wide avenues and spectacular views over the Mediterranean, mountains and a valley, in which the holes snake and incorporate various water hazards. Total length of the course: 6,373m.
