Het ontvangst was goed. Er was onduidelijkheid over de ANWB korting, maar dat was niet zo erg. Jammer dat de putting green dicht was. Alleen de kunst gras green was open. Wij hebben zo 123 geen chipping green kunnen vinden, maar dat was geen probleem. Afslaan op de DR was prima. Heerlijk genoten op de golfbaan. Broodjes die we besteld hadden meegenomen in de golfbaan. We hadden wel hogere verwachtingen van broodje kip voor 6 euro. Dit was echt het enige puntje van de dag. De borrel box was heerlijk! Wij komen heel graag weer terug naar de Haenen.

Golfbaan de Haenen
18 holesThe course of the Haenen still breathes the history of this old area, such as the stately entrance along the monumental trees and the mission house, the 'royal' pond where Princess Juliana once swam, the swimming pool where the missionaries received swimming lessons and the cemetery of the congregation and Calvary. The golf course has 4 different faces: from the blooming roughs of the wetlands and the grassy area, you enter the park area with the two large ponds and the many rhododendrons and azaleas. Then you enter the historic forest area. From hole 13, the course becomes a bit hilly with a beautiful area of heather and sand drifts.
