Royal Golf Club Sart Tilman

Heb geen mening geuit omtrent de "Gastvrijheid" gezien de covid-maatregelen. Clubhuis was gesloten en het secretariaat was slecht toegankelijk door één persoon van onze groep en er kon niets aangekocht worden in de shop.

Very nice welcoming here with a person at reception who speaks Dutch, which is always nice for those that don't speak well French. The score cards at this club are some of the best I have ever seen. Very cool. On the score card you get a huge map of the course, and also you can indicate some statistics, like on what side you missed the fairway or a hole where you find a bunker. The driving range is minimal with free balls, but the range is very short, I only hit irons of the mats for safety. The course is a classic Tom Simpson design. Tree lined and only one waterhazard (on hole 14) that can be easily avoided. Some greens have some decent slopes, it could be very difficult if the greens are fast, but they weren't too fast. I would agree with some others that the first 9 holes are the better half. Due to corona the clubhouse was closed, so can't rate that. But it looks very nice with a beautiful terrace overlooking the tee of the par 3 10th hole. Clubhouse was rebuild as a big fire on the roof damaged the previous one. I had a nice day and there's a place for Royal Sart Tilman for me in the top 10 of Belgium. Less

We werden in zeer duidelijk verstaanbaar "Nederlands" verwelkomt, afgesloten parking met slagbomen wat gevoel van veilig parkeren een stuk verhoogt. Gratis rangeballen (zoveel je wilt) . serieuze grote oefenbunker. Het terrein op alle vlakken (Tee box / green / fairway en direkte omgeving) zeer goed en mooi onderhouden. Een zeer leuke wisselende baan. Clubhouse mooi uitzicht en goede bediening. Less
